Responsible for daily Fit-up & welding related jobs using GTAW Welding machines (and other machines) in the Machining department
Handle TIG welding, metal manufacturing, grinding and metal finishing.
Able to understand WPS ( Welding Procedure)
Interpret technical drawings and produce the product accordingly
Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements)
Required 6G Welding knowledge with backing gas (argon)
All welding jobs are required to pass RT test (Radiography Test)
Requirement
2 years of welder experience in Manufacturing (metal)
Have technical education (NITEC / Diploma)
Possess knowledge of welding machinery, electrical equipment, welding tools and procedures, including TIG welding, metal manufacturing, grinding and metal finishing
Able to read blueprints and distinguish welding symbols and standards
Have considerable physical strength and strength to lift heavy objects
Have dexterous craftsmanship and attention to details
