Job Description

Job Summary

Compliance to foreman/supervisor's instruction, to achieve and meet safety and daily targets.
Compliance to safe work procedures and risk assessment.
To carry out pipe welding in various material types according to WPS
To carry out other miscellaneous welding activities onboard or in Pipeshop as assigned
Perform other related jobs as assigned by HOD / Snr Engineer / Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Responsible for good quality welding on assigned tasks.
Ensure safe and efficient operation of auto-welding machines.
Must be a team player and promote cohesiveness.
To ensure personal safety and others inclusive.
In due diligence, to report any defects found on any tools and equipment to their foreman/supervisor.
Always maintain good housekeeping and safety at all the time onboard vessel & workshop.

Key Requirements

2 Years above with relevant working experience (Prefer in Marine & Maritime industry).
Competent in WSQ Apply Workplace Safety and Health in Shipyard (General Trade)
6G welding certification (minimum) in Carbon Steel.
