Job Description

You will be joining a startup working with the startup ecosystem, and partners such as VC funds and accelerators. You'll be working with ex-bulge brackets bankers (IB/PB) and ex VCs/Founders who have exited. We keep our team lean hence we pay well only if you perform.

You'll be a client-facing account manager (75%), with the remaining time spent on product development and research.

Note: Our clients are our partners, and your colleagues are your first clients. You're expected to service clients by shadowing colleagues during initial months and slowly transit into a hybrid hunter sales role once there is familiarity with the business.

  • About us: Headquartered in Singapore, BlockOffice's vision is to help high-growth startups and funds on their growth journey. We are building a corporate finance/fundraise & data room platform (investment metrics and general finance metrics - for investors and internal management).
  • Our Investors & Funds: We are backed by angel investors that are founders of unicorns/decacorns and senior executives from Tier 1 Funds. We also manage our own proprietary capital that invests primarily in early stage startups.
  • What we are looking for: We are looking for a passionate and high EQ Growth executive to join a collaborative and innovative team to build traction in a fast-paced environment.

Candidate Role: As part of the Growth Team, you will be part of a highly motivated account management team focused on:

  • Account Servicing: You should have high EQ and a demonstrated experience working with clients. We work with founders to fulfil their startup growth needs. This typically includes supporting them with backoffice, operational, marketing, legal, finance, as well as corporate development work.
  • Sales- Account acquisition: You will be the master of lead gen, enjoy attending events, and networking opportunities to develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry stakeholders, founders, market makers, and exchanges (CEX and DEX)
  • Collaborate internally and with external partners
  • Maintain an accurate record of company and client data
  • Execute account plans to grow high-potential clients within their business plans
  • Research on methods to add value to clients positioning in the market

What the candidate will love doing:

  • Venture Building Work: We work and help high growth startups within the Web3 industry with their business and financial operations.
  • Very service-oriented and client-centric, being organized and responsive especially when dealing with clients.
  • Highly inquisitive fast learner, which will allow you to pick up on new developments quickly
  • Enjoy going to startup events (Web3) for client acquisition and brand building.
  • Establish relationships with startup channel partners within the Web3 ecosystem (VCs, Incubators, Accelerators, startup Networks, Platform startups) opening up leads.
  • Enjoys reading whitepapers and understanding tokenomics models.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new business accounts.
  • Establish and build business relationships, effectively communicating BlockOffice's proposition to potential clients.
  • Understand clients requirements and represent BlockOffice as a strategic partner to them.
  • Successfully meet sales revenue goals and maintain growth in sales activity month over month.
  • Proactively maintain account plans, systems, and tools with pipeline activity.

Who you are:

  • Strong attention to detail and take pride in their work
  • Experienced in business development, growth, or strategic partnerships within the Web3 and blockchain industry.
  • Strong understanding of decentralized technologies, tokenomics, and blockchain ecosystems.
  • Established network within the Web3 space
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Self-starter: Needs to take initiative, hit targets, and work with the team to initiate new targets for themselves and the company.
  • Comfortable working independently, or with little oversight: We work together as a team, but each individual should be able to take responsibility for her own portion of the work.
  • Client centric Team Player: The candidate has to work in an environment with other team members to serve the clients. He has to be receptive to other opinions.
  • Strong work ethic: Our start-up is fast growing and the space is very demanding, we like to work with similar-minded hustlers.
  • Broad range 2-5 years full-time working experience for different seniority/roles in our team. We only consider candidates with a stellar track record and take in only the best.
  • Web3 VC/Start-up experience is a bonus.
