Conceptual Design: Develop innovative and user-centric wayfinding concepts, considering the specific needs and cultural nuances of the target audience.
Design Execution: Create detailed design drawings, including signage, maps, and other wayfinding elements, adhering to brand guidelines and project specifications.
Project Management: Oversee the entire wayfinding design process, from initial concept development to final installation, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project budgets.
Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, present design concepts, and address project-specific challenges.
Installation Coordination: Coordinate with installation teams to ensure accurate and timely installation of wayfinding elements. Monitor the production process, ensuring high-quality standards and adherence to design specifications.
Quality Assurance: Experience of conducting site visits to assess the quality of installation and address any issues that may arise.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Industrial Design, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in wayfinding design, with a strong focus on large-scale projects.
Proven experience in managing and executing wayfinding projects in the Middle East or Singapore.
Proficiency in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign), AutoCAD, SketchUp and Revit preferred.
Strong understanding of materials, production techniques, and installation methods.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of local regulations and standards for signage and wayfinding.
