Job Description
We are looking for Technicians to join our team and operate our Mobile Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) system at a petrochemical site in Singapore.
The role involves supporting continuous water treatment operations on a 24/7 basis to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor the Mobile DAF system (manual system) in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Adjust chemical dosage rates (coagulant and flocculant) to the DAF mixing tank.
- Refill and top up chemicals into the polymer preparation unit and coagulant dosing system.
- Monitor product tank levels and operate product pumps to ensure continuous supply to customer systems.
- Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting, and escalate any operational issues to the supervisor.
- Comply with all site safety requirements, permit-to-work procedures, and company HSE policies.
Requirements
- NITEC / Diploma in Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental, or related engineering disciplines (or equivalent work experience).
- 1-3 years experience in plant operations, water treatment, or petrochemical sites preferred (fresh graduates with relevant technical training may be considered).
- Comfortable with shift-based work including nights, weekends or public holidays.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and reporting skills in English.
- Physically fit to handle routine operational tasks (e.g. chemical top-ups, equipment monitoring).
