Job Summary
You will operate refuse trucks to collect and transport waste safely, support ground crew operations, and ensure compliance with safety and traffic regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned refuse trucks to complete scheduled waste collection routes across designated locations
- Transport waste materials safely to disposal or incineration facilities
- Load, unload, and handle waste containers efficiently while following safety procedures
- Assist ground operations and support crew duties as needed
- Perform basic vehicle inspections and ensure proper maintenance of trucks
- Follow all safety and traffic regulations consistently during operations
- Communicate and coordinate with managers and operations teams to complete assignments effectively
Required competencies and certifications
- Hold a valid Singapore Class 4 driving licence
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Demonstrate 2-3 years of experience in heavy vehicle driving or waste collection operations
- Navigate Singapore roads effectively using GPS technology
- Possess the ability to perform outdoor operational duties including loading and unloading waste materials
- Maintain alertness and focus during extended driving hours
- Hold a WSQ certificate (PI-WM-106E-1) as an advantage
