Warehousing Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

Quan Mei Singapore Pte Ltd is a small trading company inSingapore handling import and distribution of Chinese religious products.

KeyResponsibilities

Inventory Control

Maintain accurate inventory records and stock levels

Conduct regular stock audits and cycle counts

Minimize losses due to damage, theft, or discrepancies

Warehouse Operations Management

Oversee daily operations: receiving, storage,picking,packing, and dispatch

Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment

Optimize warehouse layout and storage systems

Team Leadership & Supervision

Manage warehouse staff (supervisors, operators,pickers,packers)

Plan manpower allocation and shift scheduling

Train staff on processes, systems, and safety standards

Process Improvement & Efficiency

Identify inefficiencies and implement improvements

Streamline workflows to reduce costs and turnaround time

Introduce automation or warehouse management systems(WMS)where applicable

Safety & Compliance

Ensure adherence to workplace safety regulations

Enforce proper handling procedures for goods

Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free environment

Coordination & Communication

Liaise with suppliers, transport providers, andinternaldepartments

Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics activities

Ensure smooth communication across the supply chain

Performance Monitoring & Reporting

Track KPIs such as:

• Inventory accuracy
• Order fulfillment rate
• On-time delivery

Prepare reports for senior management

JobRequirements

Typically 1-3 years of experience in:

Warehouse operations

Logistics / supply chain

At least 1-3 years in a supervisory or managerialrole

Leadership & Soft Skills

Strong team management and leadership

Good communication and coordination skills

Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Operational & Analytical Skills

Process improvement and workflow optimization

Cost control and efficiency management

Ability to analyze KPIs and performance metrics

Safety & Compliance Knowledge

Understanding of workplace safety regulations

Knowledge of proper storage and handling procedures

Experience enforcing compliance standards
