Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of warehouse associates to ensure efficient, timely, and safe operations.
Provide training and support to warehouse staff to enhance performance and maintain operational standards.
Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
Ensure accurate inventory control, tracking, and timely movement of products.
Conduct regular cycle counts and audits to maintain inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
Optimize warehouse processes, workflows, and layouts to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Enforce safety regulations and company policies, conducting regular safety checks and training sessions.
Manage quality control of incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy in order fulfilment.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth logistics operations and timely deliveries.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on warehouse performance, inventory levels, and productivity.
Qualifications & Experience
Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a relevant field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse/logistics operations, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of inventory control, order fulfilment, and warehouse processes.
Hands-on experience in warehouse management systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Microsoft D365 and SAP is a plus.
Valid Class 3 and forklift license preferred.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and people management skills.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise inbound and outbound logistics operations to ensure smooth workflow.
Coordinate with customers, forwarders, and internal teams for export bookings and permit applications.
Plan and allocate manpower based on workload requirements to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Ensure proper warehouse practices are implemented for efficiency and productivity.
Prepare logistics documentation, including delivery notes, invoices, and certificates.
Manage packing operations, including estimating packing lists and coordinating third-party packing services.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, including OSHA and internal company policies.
Preferred Skills & Additional Requirements
Experience in managing warehouse facilities and logistics engineering projects.
Strong analytical skills and familiarity with problem-solving tools like Six Sigma, Lean, and FMEA.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead teams effectively.
Knowledge of budget management and cost optimization in warehouse operations.
