Our client is a market leaders for Industrial Distribution and Supply Chain Solution. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for Warehouse Supervisor to join their team, in hopes of developing the current high performing team. They are located at West.
Job Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse assistants to ensure smooth and efficient daily warehouse operations.
- Plan, organise, and allocate tasks effectively while providing guidance, training, and support to maintain productivity and service standards.
- Oversee receiving, storage, and issuance of parts and supplies, ensuring items are properly checked, sorted, and stored for easy identification and retrieval.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and participate in stock counts to ensure proper stock control and traceability.
- Coordinate logistics and shipping activities, including liaising with freight forwarders, suppliers, and preparing shipping documentation such as invoices and packing lists.
- Ensure warehouse safety, cleanliness, and compliance with operational policies while delivering a high level of service to internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Min 3 years of relevant warehouse supervisory experience
- Possess Leadership experience
- Willing to be hands-on with warehouse operations.
- Forklift or scissor lift certification is an advantage.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, for simple reporting and tracking.
