Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing shipments are accurately recorded and processed.
• Monitor warehouse productivity and workflow to meet operational requirements.
• Maintain proper housekeeping and organization of warehouse facilities.

Inventory Management

• Ensure stock accuracy through regular stock counts and inventory audits.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate replenishment when required.
• Ensure proper stock rotation practices (FIFO/FEFO) are followed.

Team Management

• Supervise and coordinate warehouse assistants and drivers.
• Assign daily tasks and monitor staff performance.
• Provide coaching, training, and guidance to warehouse personnel.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and warehouse procedures.

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety regulations and safe handling practices.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and report hazards.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and quality standards.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audits and inspections.

Logistics Coordination

• Coordinate delivery schedules and transportation requirements.
• Work closely with procurement, production, and operations teams to ensure timely material flow.
• Resolve operational issues related to warehousing and logistics activities.
