Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities:

• Determine and assign batch or lot numbers, packaging types, and quantities based on the production schedule.
• Allocate tasks and provide work instructions to contract personnel; supervise and ensure work is completed efficiently and safely.
• Maintain and update warehouse Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as necessary.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure workplace cleanliness, organization, and adherence to 5S standards in the EVAL Silo & Packaging area.
• Investigate and resolve warehouse-related Corrective Action Reports (CARs), including implementation of corrective measures.
• Monitor environmental compliance and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Support production planning and scheduling to optimize efficiency and output.
• Evaluate packaging operations (e.g., quality, cost, materials) and recommend improvements.
• Manage daily manpower requirements, including ad-hoc workers.
• Oversee inventory of EVAL products, packaging materials, raw materials, and consumables within the EVAL Silo & Packaging facility.
• Perform GSAP postings for finished products to facilitate quality grading.
• Ensure compliance with KAP Safety & Environmental policies and practices.
• Review and enhance all packaging-related procedures regularly.
• Coordinate with Sales and Production Planning to align packaging activities with production timelines.
• Observe packaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant processes.
• Monitor budget and control usage of packaging and operating supplies.
• Receive and inspect incoming materials for quality and compliance; update inventory through GSAP system.
• Liaise with Logistics and Product Management teams to coordinate the transfer of finished goods from the plant to warehouses.
• Ensure the safe management of in-house contractors, both personnel and equipment.
• Support the Technical team on projects within the EVAL Silo & Packaging area.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in warehouse packaging operations, including at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related discipline.
• Solid understanding and practical application of warehouse safety standards.
• Proficient knowledge in warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, waste material handling, freight and tariff management, budgeting, and packaging equipment.
• Familiarity with safety and regulatory requirements in material handling and transportation, including local compliance standards.
• Competency in computer systems, including MS Excel, GSAP (or equivalent SAP system), and quality management tools.
• Strong knowledge of packaging material requirements.
• Experience in auditing third-party warehouse facilities.
