Warehouse Supervisor

We are seeking a hands-on and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily operations at our LME-approved and bonded warehouse facilities. The role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient handling of metals in accordance with London Metal Exchange (LME) requirements, customs regulations, and company standards.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations (LME Metals)

Supervise receipt, storage, and dispatch of LME-approved metals (e.g., copper, aluminum, zinc, nickel).

Ensure ll materials comply with LME specifications and are handled in accordance with approved warehouse procedures.

Oversee warrant-related operations, including accurate identification, labelling, lotting and segregation of metal stocks.

Coordinate inbound/outbound activities to meet LME load-in and load-out requirements and avoid operational delays.

Maintain accurate inventory records for stock reporting.

Conduct quarterly stock takes at all Singapore sites.

Ensure proper weighing, labelling, and inspection processes prior to storage.

Ensure full compliance with Singapore Customs regulations for bonded warehouse operations.

Ensure secured storage and controlled access for bonded goods.

Supervision & Team Management

Plan manpower allocation to meet operational demands and vessel schedules.

Enforce workplace safety standards and safe handling of metals and equipment.

Conduct regular toolbox meetings and safety briefings.

Health, Safety & Compliance

Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH) regulations and company policies.

Maintain high standards of housekeeping and operational discipline.

Support internal and external audits (LME, customs, clients).

Investigate and report incidents, damages, or discrepancies.

Requirements

Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse supervisory experience, preferably in:
- LME metals warehousing, commodities, or bulk cargo handling
- Bonded warehouse / FTZ operations
- Prior experience working in port or terminal environments (e.g., Jurong Port)

Possessing a Valid forklift license will be advantageous

Strong communication, and problem-solving skills.
