The Opportunity
As Warehouse Supervisor, you will provide operational leadership to our small Warehouse team in Jurong. You will work closely with the Manager to drive continuous process improvement and champion and role model a strong health and safety culture. Responsible for the warehouse and distribution operation and scorecard, this role collaborates cross-functionally to ensure the processes achieve the effective and efficient distribution of our finished goods and spare parts with a cost and brand-aligned service management approach.
Key Accountabilities Include
Lead and manage the warehouse team to ensure smooth operation.
Work closely with Manager to ensure operation and practices are in compliance with workplace safety and to achieve the assigned KPI.
Handle day-to-day operations such as inbound, outbound, reverse logistics, cycle count, inventory stock taking and discrepancy reporting of finished goods and spare parts.
Liaise with CEX team on spare parts levels and fulfilment priorities
Provide leadership and coaching to all warehouse staff on performance and team/individual behaviours to drive a high performing culture and environment.
Manage inventory and handle administrative tasks like inventory adjustments in system, inventory and operations reports.
Strictly maintaining standard operating procedures and work instructions to ensure efficient and effective performance of the site.
Monitor performance against agreed KPIs and targets analyses outcomes and implement action learning for continuous improvement.
Manage export/import shipments incoming & outgoing.
Preparation of invoices and shipping documents pack list process permit if required
Active member in the Health & Safety Committee and work in partnership with the Health & Safety Advisor to address all work Health & Safety risks, incidents and initiatives, ensuring that these risks are mitigated or eliminated.
Ad-hoc tasks and duties are assigned by manager.
Pre-requisites
Relevant qualifications in supply chain and logistics
At least 5-8 years of experience in supervisory role
Expertise in SAP/Oracle JD Edwards.
Good in Excel, like PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP.
Knowledge in Risk Assessment (RA)
