Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our construction materials warehouse. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory control, material handling, coordination of deliveries to project sites, and supervision of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching construction materials, tools, and equipment.
  • Ensure accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock counts and reconciliation.
  • Coordinate material deliveries and collections with project sites, suppliers, and transport providers.
  • Monitor stock levels and prepare purchase requisitions when necessary.
  • Inspect incoming materials for quantity and quality compliance against delivery orders.
  • Maintain proper documentation of inventory movements, delivery orders, and warehouse records.
  • Ensure proper storage and handling of construction materials to prevent damage, loss, or deterioration.
  • Supervise warehouse assistants, storekeepers, and forklift operators.
  • Enforce workplace safety practices and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise closely with project managers, site supervisors, procurement personnel, and suppliers to support project operations.
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, material shortages, and operational issues.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum NITEC, Higher NITEC, Diploma, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of warehouse/storekeeping experience in the construction, engineering, or building materials industry.
  • Prior supervisory experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with construction materials, equipment, and tools.
  • Knowledge of inventory management and stock control procedures.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and inventory management systems.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Forklift licence will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) requirements is preferred.

  • Monday to Friday
