Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Inventory Control: Tracking inventory levels, reconciling discrepancies, and conducting regular physical stock counts.
- Receiving & Dispatching: Unloading incoming shipments, checking against purchase orders, and packing/labeling outgoing goods.
- Stock Organization: Organizing the storage layout, optimizing space, and applying FIFO (First-In, First-Out) methods to prevent inventory spoilage or obsolescence.
- Documentation & Reporting: Recording all transactions (deliveries, returns, adjustments) in software systems and maintaining records.
- Safety & Maintenance: Keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and adhering to safety standards (e.g., OSHA, occupational safety procedures).

Required Skills and Qualifications
- Physical Fitness: Capability to lift, move, and handle heavy goods and stand for long periods.
