Most sales roles begin with a product list. This role begins with a customer's warehouse problem.
We are building WAREHOUSE123 around a simple goal: when a business thinks, We need this for our warehouse, WAREHOUSE123 should be the name they think of.
That means going beyond individual products. We want to understand how customers store, move, handle and protect goods, then connect them with practical solutions across racking, shelving, material handling, warehouse equipment and related operational needs.
We are looking for someone who wants to grow into this mission with us — someone prepared to speak with customers, attend sites, work through incomplete RFQs, ask good questions and take responsibility for moving an enquiry towards a workable solution.
What you will do
• Attend to customer enquiries and RFQs promptly, professionally and with clear follow-through.
• Speak with customers to understand what they are trying to achieve, what information is missing and what should happen next.
• Join customer site visits and progressively learn to conduct site surveys, take measurements, document observations and identify operational constraints.
• Review storage needs, product dimensions and loads, material-handling equipment, aisle requirements, workflow and site conditions before recommending a direction.
• Coordinate internally and with suppliers to develop recommendations, quotation inputs, product options and follow-up actions.
• Track each enquiry carefully so commitments, unanswered questions and next steps are not forgotten.
• Look beyond the immediate request to identify related warehouse needs that may improve safety, efficiency, storage capacity or daily operations.
• Help us identify new products, suppliers and solution categories that should become part of WAREHOUSE123.
• Build practical knowledge of our products, customers and applications, and share useful market feedback with the team.
Who we are looking for
• You take ownership of work and follow through without needing to be chased repeatedly.
• You are curious and willing to learn products, technical details and warehouse operations that may initially be unfamiliar.
• You are comfortable meeting customers and working in both office and site environments.
• You ask questions when information is unclear instead of guessing or passing the problem to someone else.
• You remain constructive when a task becomes difficult, changes direction or requires extra investigation.
• You communicate clearly and respectfully in spoken and written English.
• You are organised enough to manage several enquiries, follow-ups and open items at the same time.
• You are comfortable with basic measurements, numbers and common office or digital tools.
Background
Early-career applicants and career-switchers are welcome. Experience in sales, customer service, logistics, warehouse operations, engineering, project coordination, material handling or industrial products would be useful, but it is not essential. We are more interested in evidence of responsibility, learning ability and practical problem-solving than in a perfect job title.
What you can build here
• Real experience in customer discovery, RFQ handling, site surveys and solution development.
• Working knowledge across storage systems, warehouse equipment, material handling and related product categories.
• The opportunity to influence which products and solutions WAREHOUSE123 develops next.
• Progressively greater responsibility as your product knowledge, judgement and customer-handling ability grow.
• A role where good work can contribute directly to a long-term Singapore warehouse-solutions brand.
Our working approach
We do not expect a new team member to know every answer on day one. We do expect honesty, effort, disciplined follow-up and the willingness to keep learning. When a customer gives us an incomplete request, our job is not to dismiss it or guess. Our job is to clarify the need, inspect the situation where necessary and work towards the most practical solution we can responsibly provide.
Application process
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to discuss a simple, realistic customer scenario. This is not a test of memorised warehouse knowledge. It helps us understand how you ask questions, organise incomplete information and approach a practical problem.
If this sounds like the kind of responsibility and learning opportunity you have been looking for, apply through LinkedIn and tell us briefly why this role interests you.
