Job Description

Position description: Work independently and collaboratively with the inventory and warehouse teams to ensure all incoming and outgoing shipment meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of warehouse processes to ensure compliance with customer and internal quality standards
  • Identify deviations or non-conformances and initiate corrective actions
  • Collect and analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and areas for improvement
  • Prepare detailed reports on findings and recommendations for the Inventory Executive and other stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance product quality, operational efficiency, and safety
  • Stay updated on industry best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. Share knowledge and best practices with peers and contribute to training initiatives as needed.
  • Investigate customer complaints related to product quality, determine root causes, and suggest corrective actions to prevent recurrence
  • Assist in managing inventory accuracy through participation in physical inventories, cycle counts, and other inventory management activities
  • Ensure company policies & procedures, confidentiality, legal and ethical guidelines, such as Delegation of Authority are clearly communicated and adhered to
  • Observe and abide by the TSS-QIMM-01.6 Roles, Responsibilities and Authorities outline in the QIM Manual

Educational qualifications preferred

  • Category: Post Secondary / Diploma
  • Field specialization: Quality Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management or equivalent

Required work experience

  • Industry: Quality control or quality assurance, preferably within a warehouse or manufacturing environment
  • Years of experience: 1 to 2

Required Knowledge: Warehouse Processes and Administration, GQMS and WMS, Basic Change Management

Required Skills: Strong Problem Solving, Good Communication, Strong Service Orientation
