Warehouse Operations Manager

Our client is a well-established Local MNC Independent Distributor within the marine industrial supply sector, providing logistics and distribution support for a wide range of engineering and maritime components. Due to their current expansion plan, they are looking for a Warehouse Operations Manager to support and strengthen their warehouse operations team. They are located in the (West) - easily accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse activities including goods receiving, storage allocation, order picking, packing, and shipment dispatch.

• Maintain inventory accuracy across warehouse locations through monitoring, stock reconciliation, and scheduled cycle counts.

• Track inventory levels and coordinate replenishment activities with procurement and supply teams.

• Coordinate incoming and outgoing shipments with suppliers, freight partners, and internal departments to ensure timely movement of goods.

• Monitor order fulfilment timelines and delivery performance to ensure operational continuity.

• Manage warehouse layout planning, storage allocation, and space utilization to support operational flow.

• Ensure appropriate storage and handling of marine and industrial materials in accordance with operational requirements.

• Supervise warehouse personnel including supervisors, coordinators, and warehouse assistants while managing manpower deployment and shift planning.

• Implement warehouse operational procedures and documentation standards for inventory and logistics activities.

• Review workflow processes and introduce operational improvements to enhance warehouse productivity and inventory handling.

• Support the implementation or utilisation of warehouse systems or digital tracking tools for operational monitoring.

• Maintain operational documentation for inventory movement, shipment records, and logistics transactions.

• Ensure warehouse operations comply with workplace safety regulations and operational standards.

• Monitor and resolve operational issues relating to inventory handling or shipment processes.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related discipline.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.

• Familiarity with inventory control, warehouse workflow management, and shipment coordination.

• Exposure to marine supply, engineering distribution, or industrial equipment sectors will be advantageous.

• Experience working with Microsoft Office applications and warehouse management systems.
