Responsibilities
- Handle and execute daily shipment orders initiated by customers.
- Secure freight bookings with designated carriers in line with customer routing guides.
- Offer quotations covering warehousing, transportation, and documentation services.
- Coordinate with truckers to arrange collection of empty containers from the depot for stuffing at customer premises.
- Arrange onward movement of laden containers from customer premises to the port.
- Compile permits and other required applications and declarations.
- Draft Letters of Credit and finalise shipping documentation.
- Track shipping documents to ensure smooth shipment clearance.
- Oversee adherence to customs and trade regulatory requirements.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely order execution.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in Sea operations management candidates with supervisory experience may be considered for a supervisory scope.
- Familiarity with SAP, logistics software, and MS Office applications.
- Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills, with a customer service focus and the ability to work both independently and within a team.
