Warehouse Operations Executive

Position Overview

The Warehouse Operations Executive will oversee daily warehouse activities, ensuring efficient handling, storage, and distribution of marine spare parts. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of logistics processes specific to marine engineering supplies.

Key Responsibilities

(1) Inventory Management

Maintain accurate stock records of marine spare parts.
Conduct regular cycle counts and stock audits.
Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.

(2) Warehouse Operations

Supervise receiving, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
Ensure proper storage and labelling of parts to prevent damage or misplacement.
Implement and maintain warehouse safety standards.

(3) Logistics Coordination

Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers for timely deliveries.
Prepare shipping documents and ensure compliance with customs regulations.
Track shipments and resolve delivery issues.

(4) Process Improvement

Streamline warehouse workflows to improve efficiency.
Introduce best practices in handling marine spare parts.
Support digitalization initiatives (e.g., WMS/ERP system).

(5) Team Management

Supervise warehouse assistants and ensure task completion.
Provide training on handling specialized marine equipment and parts.
Foster a culture of safety and accountability.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of warehouse/logistics experience (marine industry preferred).
• Familiarity with marine spare parts and technical components.
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS/ERP).
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a small team.
• Valid forklift license
