Job Summary:
The Warehouse Operations Executive is responsible for overseeing day-to-day warehouse activities to ensure efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role focuses on maintaining inventory accuracy, optimizing operational processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch of goods.
- Ensure accurate inventory control through regular stock checks, cycle counts, and system updates.
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and sales teams to ensure timely fulfillmentof orders.
- Monitor and maintain proper documentation for all inbound and outbound shipments.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and warehouse procedures.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- Supervise warehouse staff and provide guidance on operational best practices.
- Oversee the proper maintenance and utilization of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies, damages, or operational issues promptly.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2-5 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in supervising warehouse operations or leading a team.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and regulatory requirements.
