Warehouse Officer

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations to ensure efficient cargo handling, inventory accuracy, and timely delivery of materials. The role supervises warehouse staff, coordinates inbound and outbound logistics activities, and ensures compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards within a marine logistics environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving, inspection, storage, inventory control, picking, packing, issuance, and returns.

• Manage inbound, storage, outbound, and reverse logistics processes to ensure smooth operations.

• Supervise and coach warehouse staff to ensure tasks are completed safely and efficiently.

• Plan and coordinate cargo handling schedules and ensure timely execution.

• Manage material handling equipment and ensure optimal operational performance.

• Ensure proper cargo documentation and compliance with industry regulations.

• Maintain warehouse security, inventory accuracy, and operational records.

• Ensure compliance with Workplace Safety & Health (WSH), QHSSE standards, and 5S practices.

• Conduct safety risk assessments and implement corrective actions where required.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and performance.

• Manage manpower planning and support staff training and development.

• Perform other duties assigned by the reporting manager.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Minimum 3-5 years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in marine, offshore, or logistics sectors.
• Prior team supervision experience preferred.
• Knowledge of inventory management, cargo handling, and warehouse systems (WMS/ERP).
• Familiar with WSH regulations and safety practices.
• Candidates must possess a valid WSQ Operate Forklift certificate.
