Warehouse Supervisor / Warehouse Operations Executive
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure operational efficiency, inventory accuracy, and timely order fulfilment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, operational knowledge, and experience in warehouse management systems (WMS).
Job Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Manage day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
- Ensure program deliverables are met, including delivery timelines, inventory accuracy, and proper documentation retention
- Operate warehouse functions in a cost-effective manner while meeting operational requirements and service standards
- Control and monitor material usage, purchasing activities, manpower planning, overtime, and operational costs
- Handle customer complaints and provide timely resolution to maintain service excellence
- Maintain high inventory integrity through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and accurate record management
- Monitor operational KPIs such as productivity, turnaround time, and order accuracy
- Coordinate closely with clients, transport providers, and internal departments to ensure seamless operations
- Gather feedback from warehouse staff and customers to drive process improvements and operational efficiency
- Prepare and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and operational documentation
- Conduct On-Job Training (OJT) for warehouse staff to ensure competency and compliance
- Ensure adherence to established warehouse processes, safety standards, and accuracy in system transactions
- Perform documentation and system updates using Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Requirements:
- Proven experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain management
- Experience supervising warehouse staff and managing daily operations
- Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and inventory control processes
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of inventory management, stock control, and operational KPIs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and warehouse reporting systems.
