Job Purpose
The Warehouse Manager in Contract Logistics is responsible for overseeing the efficient operation of the warehouse to ensure the seamless flow of goods and services. This role involves managing all aspects of warehouse operations, including inventory management, staff supervision, and process optimization. The Warehouse Manager will implement best practices in logistics and supply chain management to enhance productivity and accuracy while ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. This position is crucial in maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction by ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
This position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
- Delivery of New Operations Revenue Streams:
- Lead multiple projects in a matrixed environment by partnering with subject matter experts in operations, technology, human resources, finance, legal, and other functional teams internal and external to the organization and additional service providers.
- Relationship management with operations and commercial teams to provide value in the pursuit of new opportunities or the expansion of services for existing customers.
- Developing commercial content; cost estimate, timelines, project structures, etc., for responses to customer proposals.
- The development or oversight of project timelines that demonstrate a realistic path from project initiation through go-live of services and transition to ongoing operations.
- Estimation or oversight of estimations for project cost of project implementation, including investments in time, facility infrastructure, technology, one-time expenses, or capital.
- Management or oversight of cost from acceptance through project implementation with the ability to estimate variance at completion.
- Defining, documenting, and evaluating risks associated with a project and creating a risk management plan to either avoid, mitigate, or transfer risk.
- Project status reporting delivers an accurate assessment of project health and is easily interpreted by executive leadership.
- Integration of project documents with external customers and service providers, so plans represent the project in total, not just the organization's elements.
- Communications at the project team member level and the senior leadership level may require multiple communication methods.
- Maintain a portfolio management tool that accurately reflects the projects being worked, the overall status of each, a high-level timeline, and who is leading.
- Delivery of Integrated Operational Solutions:
- This position is responsible for leading the implementation efforts for the integrated solutions for domestic logistics services.
- This role is responsible for leading project team activities and efforts in validating and monitoring the quality of project deliverables and/or service being delivered as a result of project implementation.
- This position directly coordinates with commercial and operational teams and customer client teams on the analysis of customer business and operational requirements for all contract logistics business
- This individual plays a lead role in the design and project management of business integration solutions: facility, operations, processes, and technology and systems application solutions.
- This position will lead and manage cross-functional teams from domestic operations technology teams, client operations teams, and vendor teams.

- Leads the development and documentation of WMS and related interfaces or ancillary systems processes and procedures.
- Creates general Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and site/customer-specific processes and procedures.
- User Acceptance Testing:
- Plans, coordinates, and monitors the execution of user acceptance tests.
- Project Scope Management:
- Monitors and manages integrated system solution project scope.
- Change Management Programs:
- Designs and develops change management programs to prepare the workforce for new operations, system deployments, upgrades, and process improvements.
- Training Documentation Management:
- Manages and maintains training programs and documentation for CLS network super users and key users.
Qualification
- Holder of University/College Degree in Foreign Trade, Economics, Transportation, Logistics, or equivalent qualification.
Requirements
- Having at least 8 years of working experience as a Warehouse position in International freight forwarding/International logistics operations/Supply chain solutions, 3PL is more preferrable
- Must be knowledgeable in warehouse management and operations, including equipment and its proper use and maintenance.
- Must have good interpersonal and English communication skills, both written and oral.
