Responsibilities:
- Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch activities
- Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counts, stock reconciliation, and timely ERP updates
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, ISO standards, and company policies
- Plan and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments to meet operational and customer requirements
- Lead, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve performance targets
- Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and conduct performance evaluations
- Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement
- Support staff development through coaching and skills training
- Enforce workplace safety practices and conduct regular safety inspections
- Implement and maintain 5S standards to ensure a clean, organised, and efficient warehouse
- Ensure all storage areas are free from obstructions, hazards, and unnecessary items
- Oversee proper disposal of waste materials such as packaging and pallets
- Ensure warehouse equipment is used, maintained, and stored safely after use
- Identify operational inefficiencies and drive process improvement initiatives
- Prepare reports to support management review and decision-making
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
- At least 3-5 years of experience in warehouse or logistics operations, including 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
- Demonstrated experience in inventory management, ERP/WMS systems, and freight coordination
- Possession of a valid forklift license to support operations, compliance, and team supervision
- Experience with Syspro ERP is preferred candidates with SAP or Oracle knowledge are also encouraged to apply
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
