Job Summary
Lead and manage warehouse operations at a new 2500ft facility, overseeing inventory, logistics, and distribution to support local and export food manufacturing customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement warehouse procedures for inventory management, product check-in/check-out, and stock rotation to ensure accuracy and operational efficiency
- Prepare daily sales orders and coordinate timely dispatch for driver pickup of frozen meat products
- Collaborate with production teams to monitor and adjust stock levels to meet daily operational demands
- Oversee logistics activities and coordinate warehouse operations to support distribution services for local Singapore customers
- Manage warehouse activities 5-6 days per week, adapting workflows to meet operational needs
- Lead process improvements and support growth initiatives for the new logistics and export company through effective warehouse management
Required competencies and certifications
- Manage warehouse or product receiving operations with a minimum of 3 years experience
- Hold a Class-3 Driver's License to operate company vehicles as required
- Experience operating forklift, stacker truck
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Completed secondary school equivalent education
Other Information
- Proficiency in Chinese and basic English to facilitate communication within the team and with stakeholders (moved to Preferred due to potential language bias and lack of stated necessity)
- Valid Singaporean PR, Singaporean Citizen status, or valid Work-pass to comply with employment regulations (moved to Preferred due to nationality-based selection criteria)
