Job Summary
Manage and oversee all warehouse and storeroom operations to ensure efficient stock control, accurate inventory management, and effective distribution aligned with company policies and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, and dispatch to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment
- Manage all storerooms (main and satellite) to maintain stock traceability and ensure accurate issuing and returns using the SRV system
- Maintain accurate and timely stock records by applying FIFO principles to optimize inventory turnover and reduce waste
- Conduct regular stock counts, investigate variances, and implement corrective actions to maintain inventory accuracy
- Verify quantities received and ensure dispatch accuracy aligned with invoices to prevent discrepancies
- Supervise and manage warehouse staff, allocating resources effectively based on demand to meet operational targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards through regular audits and enforcement
- Monitor validity of certifications and licenses for staff operating warehouse equipment to maintain a safe working environment
- Track stock accuracy, fulfillment rates, and operational efficiency through detailed reporting
- Identify, propose, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse productivity and reduce costs
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Minimum Degree or Diploma with 3 years in a managerial or similar capacity.
- Proven experience in warehouse management, including knowledge of inventory control, distribution, and logistics.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations.
- Effective communication skills to interact with internal teams and external partners.
