Warehouse Executive

Main purpose of the job

Responsible for the execution of a safe and proper operation in warehouse including third party management Coordinate and supervise all warehouse activities, including loading / unloading of inbound shipment, receiving, issuing / picking of raw / components / packaging materials for production and packaging for outbound shipment. Other duties include the maintenance of warehouse equipment, inventory accuracy and scheduling and assigning duties, monitor & management of 3rd party warehouse operator performance and warehouse security. Exercise proper supervision of all warehouse personnel within their area of responsibilities. Supervisors must enforce strict compliance with the safety and GMP procedure of the Company. Supervisors are also responsible for ensuring that all their employees are properly trained in safety and procedural aspects of their jobs.

Key output
Supervise warehouse activities efficiently (Inbound and Outbound).

Set priorities and assign tasks to warehouse personnel and to the 3rd party

Put in place a structured continuous improvement approach leveraging on NCE tools

Organize and conduct appropriate training for warehouse personnel.

Ensure the onsite competency of all temporary staff / contractor labours

Ensure Inventory Accuracy, and investigation of discrepancies

Communicate with other departments to resolve material issues.

Collaborate with shipping section to ensure shipments are completed on time.

Monitors and manages Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations and Best Practices within Warehousing Operations

Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at factory, Supply Chain, Procurement and external partners as Suppliers, and 3PLs.

Drive cost saving initiatives to improve performance and cost of the warehouse operations through NCE

Ensure proper management, tracking and maintenance of all warehouse assets (including Racks, MHEs, Pallets, building, docklevelers, etc)

Manage performance, propose a comprehensive succession plan and coaching for Direct reports

Contribute in continuous improvement projects and Promote Quality Excellence in all:

- Improve On-Time Delivery

- Reduce Costs

- Improve SHE

Key experiences
At least 3-4 years relevant and successful operational experience in a leadership role at market/ business level in one or more of the following:-

- Warehouse management

- Transportation & distribution

- Physical logistics

- Demand & Supply Planning

Key experiences

Relevant operational experience at market/business level in DSP, Customer Services or Techinical is beneficial.

Has demonstrated good working relationships with cross-functional teams e.g. Technical, MRP, CS & Transport

Sufficient experience of handling / managing GLOBE, Best practices implementation & Supply chain improvement projects

Desirable to have worked on a leadership position in a LEAN organization, who has adapted LEAN concepts and tools as part of their way of working.
