Job Description

Warehouse Supervision & Inventory Control

Quality Assurance: Ensure all incoming packaged and bulk products are held and only utilized or loaded into silos after formal approval from the Quality Control laboratory.
Data Integrity: Accurately record batch numbers for all incoming materials and execute Warehouse Entry transactions within the IT system.
Inventory Flow: Manage the identification of raw materials, intermediates, and finished goods through precise labeling and strategic positioning to guarantee a FIFO (First In, First Out) rotation.
Operational Standards: Maintain high levels of warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety. Provide direct support during scheduled inventory audits and spot checks.

Shipment Preparation & Logistics

Deadline Management: Oversee the staging and preparation of shipments to meet deadlines established by the Warehouse Manager.
Packaging: Supervise the preparation of secondary packaging (pallets, wrapping, etc.) and ensure outgoing goods are correctly staged for dispatch.
Dispatch & Loading: Manage the handover of materials to carriers based on Shipping Office instructions. Verify that goods are loaded and secured on transport vehicles according to industry best practices.

Carrier Compliance & Production Support

Regulatory Verification: Audit carriers to ensure they meet specific shipment requirements (e.g., ADR for hazardous goods, HACCP for food safety) and complete all mandatory control checklists.
Cross-Functional Support: Provide flexible assistance to the Production department and perform additional operational tasks as required.
