Job Description

SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Warehouse Associate II performs a broad range of warehouse functions with limited supervision. This role is considered a fully competent warehouse operator and is responsible for independently executing core warehouse processes including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping. This position may provide guidance to entry-level associates and support operational efficiency and compliance objectives.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase order documentation
  • Perform system-based inventory put-away into designated storage locations
  • Pick, count, and package material per sales order requirements with accuracy
  • Prepare domestic shipments, including packing slips and required documentation
  • Generate shipping labels and basic freight documentation
  • Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
  • Perform routine cycle counts as assigned
  • Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies
  • Support AOG (Aircraft-on-the-Ground) off-hour shipments as required
  • Assist in training and guiding Level I associates
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
  • Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years warehouse or distribution experience
  • Current forklift license (LF) with demonstrated operating proficiency
  • Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 25 kg, in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures
  • Availability for on-call work as required
  • Reliable transportation is essential due to site location
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

  • Formal education degree or technical certification.
  • 4+ years of professional work experience.
  • Intermediate computer knowledge.
  • Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.
