SUMMARY: As part of a leading Global Aerospace Distributor, the Warehouse Associate II performs a broad range of warehouse functions with limited supervision. This role is considered a fully competent warehouse operator and is responsible for independently executing core warehouse processes including receiving, inventory control, picking, packing, and shipping. This position may provide guidance to entry-level associates and support operational efficiency and compliance objectives.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Receive and verify incoming materials against purchase order documentation
- Perform system-based inventory put-away into designated storage locations
- Pick, count, and package material per sales order requirements with accuracy
- Prepare domestic shipments, including packing slips and required documentation
- Generate shipping labels and basic freight documentation
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform routine cycle counts as assigned
- Identify and escalate inventory discrepancies
- Support AOG (Aircraft-on-the-Ground) off-hour shipments as required
- Assist in training and guiding Level I associates
- Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and safety compliance
- Perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years warehouse or distribution experience
- Current forklift license (LF) with demonstrated operating proficiency
- Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks, including lifting and moving items up to 25 kg, in accordance with workplace health and safety procedures
- Availability for on-call work as required
- Reliable transportation is essential due to site location
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Working knowledge of Warehouse Management System (WMS) processes
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, cross-functional team environment.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Formal education degree or technical certification.
- 4+ years of professional work experience.
- Intermediate computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of Component Control Quantum.
