Warehouse Assistant

Responsibility:

1) To work closely with planner to replenish of inventories.

2) Inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies and report those to accounting for reimbursements and record-keeping.

3) Organize and allocate of inventory at the labelled area especially raw material and finished goods .

4) Monthly stock count. Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.

5) Ensure storage of goods is following the first in first out method (FIFO).

6)Experience in frozen food processing, preparation and packing

7) Work in a team in fast paced production environment

8) Follow strictly hygiene and food safety standards

9) Comply with all regulations and oversee warehousing and storage requirements.

10) Other duties assigned by the manager .

Job Requirements:

. Computer skills and familiarity with inventory management software.

. Proven experience as a Storekeeper or in a similar role,preferably in a warehouse or cold room environment (-18°C to -25°C).

. Must not have a fear of heights.

. Able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.

. Willing to work overtime and weekends when required by business needs.

. Able to work rotating shifts, including night shifts.
