Responsible for receiving and inspecting all incoming goods. This includes checking for accuracy, quality and documenting any discrepancies.
Order fulfilment
Picking / packing and perform part preservations on semi finish material and pack cargo for shipment ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
Understand and execute receiving and picking priorities based on customer demand and planned deliveries, provide sense of urgency and fast attention to the business priorities.
Shipping and loading
To assist with container stuffing or unstuffing / loading or unloading from trucks or trailers.
Inventory management
To conduct regular stock checks, update inventory lists, and report any discrepancies.
Organizing and maintaining the warehouse
Keeping the warehouse organized and clean. This includes arranging items in a logical and efficient manner, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, and reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
Operating equipment
Required to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, overhead crane or other equipment to move goods around the warehouse. Proper training and certification may be necessary for these tasks.
Assisting with inventory audits
To assist with inventory audits to ensure the accuracy of stock levels. This may involve counting and verifying items, as well as updating inventory records.
Following safety procedures
Must be familiar with and follow all safety protocols. This may include wearing appropriate protective gear, following safe lifting techniques, and reporting any safety hazards.
Assisting with special projects
To assist with special projects, such as supporting offsite cargo inspection, inventory reorganization, process improvements, or implementing new procedures. This provides opportunities for growth and development within the role.
Job Requirement:
GCE N Level certification and above
1 years of working experience or more in logistics industry required
General knowledge on logistics
Forklift License/Certification (if applicable)
Attention to details - follows procedure accurately, carefully and completes report or other documents accurately
Communication - able to express clearly, to listen and understand effectively (instruction & feedback)
