WAREHOUSE ASSISTANT

Main duties and responsibilities: -

• Receiving & Inspection: Unload incoming shipments, verify goods against delivery notes, and inspect for any damages.
• Order Fulfillment: Accurately pick items from shelves and pack them securely for shipment according to schedules.
• Inventory Control: Update inventory records using warehouse management systems and assist in regular stock takes.
• Safety & Maintenance: Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) safely and keep the workspace clean and tidy-up.
• Loading / Unloading: Securely load / unload products onto delivery vehicles to prevent damage during transit.
• Assist any ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisors
• 5.5 days works week
• Food Xchange @ Admiralty
• Prefer Local worker ONLY

Requirements

• Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse and manufacturing environment is a plus, but training will be provided for entry-level candidates.
• Physical Fitness: Must be physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects (up to 30kg)
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, good numeracy skills, and a team-player attitude.
• Certifications: Possession of a valid Forklift Licence and Class 3 Driving License is highly preferred.
