warehouse assistant

Key Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery notes or invoices

• Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch

• Load and unload delivery vehicles safely

• Label, sort, and store inventory in designated locations

• Perform regular stock checks and assist with inventory control

• Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts - if certified)

• Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse

• Report damaged goods or discrepancies to the supervisor

• Follow company health and safety procedures at all times

  Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

  • Previous warehouse or logistics experience is an advantage

  • Ability to lift heavy items (up to [insert weight, e.g., 25 kg])

  • Good organizational and time-management skills

  • Basic math and computer skills
