Job Responsibilities
- Receive incoming deliveries promptly and efficiently.
- Inspect all goods upon arrival, verifying quantity, quality, and condition against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
- Confirm that all materials come from approved suppliers and include required paperwork (e.g., certificates of analysis, allergen declarations).
- Record received items accurately in the inventory management system.
- Work closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to manage and segregate items awaiting approval.
- Store materials safely in assigned locations following FIFO (First-In, First-Out) or FEFO (First-Expired, First-Out) practices.
- Conduct daily cycle counts and participate in full stock audits to maintain 100% inventory accuracy.
- Pick and prepare materials for production according to issued work orders.
- Manage the movement of finished goods to the dispatch team, ensuring precise order fulfillment.
- Report inventory discrepancies, shortages, or slow-moving/obsolete stock to your supervisor.
- Maintain an exceptionally clean, organized, and tidy warehouse environment at all times.
- Follow all GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), including personal hygiene requirements and correct usage of PPE (hairnets, gloves, safety shoes, etc.).
- Perform routine daily and weekly cleaning of warehouse floors, racks, pallets, and equipment.
- Ensure proper segregation of allergens, non-conforming goods, and waste to prevent cross-contamination.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in warehousing, stores, or logistics roles, ideally within food manufacturing, FMCG, or other high-compliance industries.
- Strong understanding of hygiene, safety, and food-handling requirements in warehouse operations.
- Hands-on experience with FIFO/FEFO and cycle counting practices.
- High attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to perform under time pressure.
- Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory management systems.
- Good physical fitness, with the ability to lift, move, and stand for extended periods.
- Strong teamwork abilities and clear, effective communication skills.
