Warehouse Assistant

Cargo Handling & Release

. Proper release of cargo to third parties (Import).

. Perform warehouse duties including receiving, checking against CI/PL, verifying cargo condition, retrieving, taking photos, repacking, sorting, and palletization.

. Ensure proper cargo checking upon receipt and report any irregularities to the supervisor.

. Perform labelling of cargo (HAWB/Export) and check labelling (Import).

. Comply with height, weight, and special handling requirements when stacking, moving, and arranging items on pallets according to storage plans.

. Report any cargo discrepancies immediately to the Import & Export Team.

Inventory & Stock Accuracy

. Ensure stock accuracy is maintained at agreed levels.

. Maintain efficient use of storage space.

. Arrange and move warehouse cargo and items systematically.

Compliance & Standards

. Adhere to quality, safety, hygiene standards, and work rules.

. Ensure efficient operation of warehouse equipment.

. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in the warehouse area.

. Observe safe warehouse practices and security protocols.

Operational Support

. Identify operational shortfalls, maintenance, or repair needs.

. Report warehousing issues in a timely manner.

. Support the department in incident or crisis management initiatives.

. Perform daily tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

. Carry out ad hoc tasks as directed by the manager.
Communication & Coordination

. Maintain close communication with the Import & Export Team.

. Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure smooth warehouse operations.

Additional Advantage

. Possession of a valid forklift license is considered an advantage
