As a Warehouse Assistant, you will be responsible for the following duties:
- Perform all assigned warehouse tasks through safe and accurate handling of customer products and materials using manual labour and equipment (e.g. forklift, reach truck and pallet jack)
- Track and monitor inbound and outbound container status
- Assist with the coordination of loading and unloading of goods
- Ensure prompt reporting of any suspected or apparent damage of containers and missing and/or damaged goods to the immediate supervisor
- Packing and/re-packing goods according customer specifications
- Release cargo for deliveries and self collections by customers
- Update warehouse management system and inventory status in client's system
Requirements:
- Previous experience in warehouse environment
- Experienced in operating forklift, reach truck and pallet jack
