About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and proactive Warehouse & Logistics Technician to support the efficient operation of our warehouse and logistics activities in the pharmaceutical industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for inventory handling, storage control, dispensing operations, documentation management, and ensuring compliance with GMP/GDP and safety standards.
Responsibilities
Receiving and Storage of Goods
- Receive and inspect incoming pharmaceutical products against delivery documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Store products in designated warehouse locations in an organized, labeled, and accessible manner.
- Update inventory records promptly upon receipt of goods to maintain accurate stock information.
Inventory Management
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory reconciliation activities to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor product expiry dates and implement proper stock rotation practices to minimize product wastage.
- Assist in preparing inventory and consumption reports to support procurement and operational planning.
Storage Control and Quality Assurance
- Ensure warehouse storage conditions comply with regulatory requirements, including temperature and humidity controls.
- Perform routine inspections and quality checks on stored products to identify discrepancies or potential issues.
- Maintain proper housekeeping and cleanliness within the warehouse and dispensing areas.
Distribution and Order Fulfillment
- Prepare products for local distribution and export shipments, ensuring accurate packing and labeling.
- Coordinate with transport and logistics teams to ensure timely and efficient delivery of products.
Dispensing and Temperature Mapping Support
- Dispense raw and packaging materials for production operations in accordance with established procedures.
- Support periodic temperature mapping activities within warehouse and storage facilities.
- Maintain cleanliness and compliance within dispensing areas at all times.
Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to all applicable pharmaceutical regulations, GMP/GDP guidelines, and workplace safety procedures.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Support audit and inspection activities by maintaining operational readiness and compliance documentation.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, receipts, shipments, and stock movements.
- Ensure all GMP/GDP documentation related to warehouse and dispensing activities is properly maintained.
- Assist in preparing documentation and reports required for internal audits and regulatory inspections.
Qualifications
- Minimum secondary school education or relevant certificate qualification.
- Valid forklift and reach truck driving skills/certification preferred.
Required Skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Able to perform manual handling and warehouse-related duties.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in warehouse, logistics, or pharmaceutical operations will be an advantage.
