WACE Subject Tutor (Full-Time / Part-Time)

We are seeking experienced tutors to support students enrolled in the Western Australian Certificate of Education (WACE) programme in Singapore. Students are aged 16-18 and are primarily Chinese nationals. All instruction is conducted in English.

The role involves subject tutoring, academic reinforcement, exam preparation, and supervised study support.

Subjects Required

• Mathematics

• Advanced Mathematics

• English (EALD)

• Accounting

• Physics

• Business Studies

• Chinese Language

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver WACE-aligned tutoring sessions in assigned subjects

• Prepare students for coursework, assessments, and examinations

• Monitor and report on student academic progress

• Supervise structured study and revision sessions

• Coordinate with academic staff to ensure syllabus alignment

Working Hours

• Weekdays:

  • 9:00am - 12:00pm

  • 2:00pm - 5:00pm

  • 5:00pm - 7:00pm

• Weekends (as scheduled):

  • 9:00am - 12:00pm

  • 2:00pm - 5:00pm

Salary / Remuneration

• Full-Time Tutor: To Be Discussed

• Part-Time Tutor: SGD $50 - $70 per hour

Higher rates may be considered for candidates with strong WACE track records or extensive pre-university teaching experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching or tutoring the WACE curriculum

• Strong subject mastery in at least one listed subject

• Experience with international or pre-university students preferred

• Good communication and classroom management skills

• Able to commit to scheduled teaching hours

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field

• Teaching or tutoring certification preferred
