Vulnerability Management Expert
12 Months Contract
Overview
Singapore-based Data Security Services team supporting infrastructure across Europe and Asia. Role involves working across multiple time zones in a flexible support environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the SME and primary contact for Vulnerability Management
- Plan and execute the end-to-end vulnerability management lifecycle
- Schedule, configure, and monitor vulnerability scans troubleshoot failures
- Perform asset discovery and ensure proper onboarding into VM tools
- Assess vulnerabilities, analyze risk/impact, and guide remediation
- Collaborate with infrastructure and application teams on risk-based remediation
- Manage false positives and risk acceptance processes with stakeholders
- Maintain dashboards, reporting, and KPI tracking for compliance
- Lead penetration testing remediation and threat exposure assessments
- Drive process improvements, automation, and service enhancements
- Provide regular reporting and updates to technical teams and management
Qualifications & Experience
- 10-12 years of IT experience, with 6-8 years in IT Security
- 5+ years in enterprise Vulnerability Management
- Degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Technical Skills
- Strong experience in Tenable/Nessus or equivalent VM tools (must-have)
- Solid understanding of OS, networks, databases, and applications security
- Knowledge of risk-based vulnerability prioritization
- Experience with PowerShell or SQL scripting
- Familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
- Understanding of ITIL processes and enterprise operations
