VTL Machinist - Aerospace

Description

We are seeking a skilled VTL Machinist with 3-10 years of experience in the aerospace sector to join our dynamic team in Southeast Asia. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in operating vertical turning lathes and a keen understanding of aerospace manufacturing standards. This role requires attention to detail, precision, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

Set up jigs, fixtures, and tooling required for machining

Operate manual and CNC Lathe, VTL and milling machines

Perform in-process inspection on machining parts using precision gauges and micrometer

Comply with engine manuals, technical data, and work instructions for all machining operation

Initiate and suggest continuous improvement ideas to improve process, productivity, and quality

Perform TPMs

Maintain good housekeeping practices on machines and in work area

Comply with safety rules and regulations during course of duties

Perform Sheetmetal work as and when required

Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Must be able to operate manual and CNC Lathe, VTL and Milling machine

Good knowledge in machining processes and able to read and understand blueprints with

Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)

Able to use standard measuring instruments

Proficient in both spoken and written English

Must have VTL Experience
