The Output Management Manager is responsible for administering UOB's Output Management systems and managing relationships with the printing/enveloping vendor. This role ensures smooth report publishing, print operations, and system automation, while maintaining compliance with audit and regulatory requirements.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform administration and configuration of Output Management systems, including Report2Web (R2W) and Remote Print Manager (RPM).
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for troubleshooting Output-related incidents and problems.
- Oversee daily operational procedures with the printing/enveloping vendor to ensure timely and accurate output delivery.
- Liaise with internal groups and system users to coordinate Output Management requirements.
- Identify, analyze, and recommend solutions for operational issues; develop documentation for staff and management reference.
- Manage vendors, set standards, and streamline processes for efficient report publishing and print operations.
- Participate in audits, compliance reviews, and outsourcing due diligence for vendors.
Automation, Program Development, and Infrastructure Support:
- Assess automation opportunities to reduce repetitive tasks and manual interventions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize scripts and programs to automate operational processes.
- Evaluate existing and new systems for automation potential and operational improvements.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to enhance the end-to-end infrastructure design and workflow of R2W and printing processes.
Project Management:
- Lead Output Management-driven projects and initiatives, ensuring successful delivery within scope, time, and budget.
- Provide technical support and consultation for projects involving Output Management systems.
Qualification and Experience:
- Minimum 10 years experience in Data Centre Operations, preferably in Output Report Distribution and Print Operations within a banking environment.
- Strong understanding of network, database, Windows, and UNIX platforms to troubleshoot Output Management systems.
- Experience with Windows infrastructure, Active Directory (AD), DNS, Network Load Balancer, MS Clustering, Virtual Machines (VM), and MS SQL.
- Knowledge of web server components including Tomcat and IIS.
- Proficiency in Windows/Unix scripting and programming (Python, Visual Basic, PowerShell, C#, Java preferred).
- Experience with R2W and RPM systems is advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
- Organized, detail-oriented, with strong time management skills and proactive problem-solving mindset.
