Job Responsibilities

Mizuho Bank is seeking a highly experienced business transformation leader with strong expertise in IT program delivery to take on the role of Domain Program/Project Manager in Singapore.

The position offers the opportunity to influence decisions at the highest levels, oversee strategic initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of one of the most important programs for the bank.

Mizuho is undertaking a multi-year regional transformation program for its Asia Pacific business and is seeking to hire a Trade Finance Domain Program/Project Manager for implementation of the Trade Finance platform.

This role requires good understanding of integration, implementation, and functional knowledge of Trade Finance systems, combined with a strong background in international banking. The Domain Program/Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end delivery, ensuring alignment with all the key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Project Delivery: Deliver Trade Finance Project on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Project Planning: Develop and manage project plans, resource allocation, and timelines to ensure successful project execution.

Monitoring and Tracking: Continuously monitor and track project progress, identifying and addressing any deviations or issues.

Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate risks that could impact the project delivery, ensuring proactive measures to minimise risk exposure.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Engineering or related field
  • Minimum 10 years experience in Trade Finance and project management
  • Proven success in IT program management and business transformation.
  • Experience engaging senior stakeholders and managing cross-border teams.
  • Strong leadership, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to see the big picture and translate it into practical actions.
  • Solid understanding of core banking systems and IT program delivery.
  • Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
