The Role:
Our client, a leading Global Financial Institution, is seeking a highly motivated, legally trained professional to join the financial products transaction team.
You will be part of a team, given ample training to support the group on managing investment banking matters ranging from debt structured products, securitization, including structuring of transactions (derivatives), negotiation of transaction documents and managing transactions to completion.
Requirements
- Degree in Law with at least 8-10 years working in a law firm focused on derivatives banking instruments or debt securitization
- DCM lawyers with financing experience will be considered
- Strong execution experience assisting with negotiating deal-specific legal documentation (structured note documentation, loan agreements, term sheets, NDAs and mandate letters)
- Good knowledge and understanding of Banking Act, SFA, Financial regulatory requirements
- Strong verbal, written communication skills and analytical skills
