Job Description

The Trade Channel Product Manager will drive the strategy, adoption, and commercialization of trade channel products across digital platforms. This role ensures that all channel products are aligned with regulatory requirements, operationally efficient, and competitive in the market. The incumbent will manage product initiatives, client integrations, and campaigns to increase usage, enhance revenue streams, and strengthen UOB's reputation in Transaction Banking.

Key Responsibilities:

Trade Channel Strategy & Product Management

  • Support the definition and execution of the Trade Channel strategy.
  • Manage product initiatives, campaigns, and one-off programs to promote adoption by customers.
  • Conduct regular product and market analysis to ensure competitiveness of trade channel offerings.
  • Develop and commercialize new product capabilities that improve operational efficiency, reduce risk, and generate revenue.

Client Integration & Digitalization

  • Support complex client channel integrations such as H2H and API.
  • Drive digitalization initiatives using proprietary bank systems or industry-led platforms.
  • Manage onboarding forms, subscription packages, and ongoing product activities.

Commercialization & Training

  • Design standard commercialization kits, brochures, and other sales tools for the sales team.
  • Conduct product awareness sessions and training programs for sales and customer support teams.
  • Provide product expertise and support for client solutions.

Data Analysis & Performance Management

  • Monitor and analyze digital usage, campaign performance, and operational metrics to drive adoption.
  • Manage business drivers including digital volumes, costs, and revenue opportunities.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance customer experience and operational excellence.

Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure all channel product solutions comply with regulatory requirements.
  • Support risk assessment and mitigation initiatives for new products or digital initiatives.

Education & Experience:

  • At least 10 years of working experience in trade finance product management, particularly in Asia.
  • Strong technical and operational knowledge of trade finance products.
  • Solid project management experience and ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as H2H, Blockchain, API, and digital portals.
