Own and drive the strategic roadmap for operational reliability, resilience, and stability across GFM systems and platforms, aligned to COO, Operations, and control objectives.
Lead front-to-back operating model standardization to reduce operational risk, eliminate process fragmentation, and strengthen control consistency across GFM.
Define, govern, and embed business architecture, process, and design standards to minimize control gaps, key person risk, and operational vulnerabilities.
Partner closely with Technology, Operations, Risk, and Control functions to ensure coherent business-technology architecture and disciplined execution of change.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational resilience, incident reduction, service stability, and recovery preparedness.
Oversee detailed end-to-end process analysis, including root cause analysis of incidents, operational losses, audit findings, and control weaknesses.
Review and challenge process, architecture, and control artefacts to ensure alignment with operational risk management frameworks and internal governance standards.
Act as a senior escalation and coordination point across business, operations, and technology to manage risks, issues, and change dependencies.
Define and monitor operational KPIs, KRIs, and resilience metrics, ensuring transparency of risk exposure, remediation progress, and outcomes.
Ensure ongoing testing, validation, and assurance activities are performed to confirm adherence to standards, controls, and reliability frameworks.
Requirements
8–12 years experience in COO, Technology / Operations, operational risk, business transformation, or process governance roles within banking or Global Financial Markets.
Strong understanding of front-to-back GFM operating models, system dependencies, and operational risk drivers.
Demonstrated experience leveraging Generative AI, including LLMs and agent‑based solutions, to improve business processes, operational efficiency, or decision‑making in an enterprise or regulated environment.
Proven experience leading cross-functional initiatives to remediate control gaps, improve process resilience, and drive operational stability.
Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and enforce standards, governance frameworks, and controls in complex delivery environments.
Strong analytical capability, including use of data to assess operational risk, performance trends, and resilience indicators.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior Operations, Technology, Risk, and Business leaders.
