VP, Regulatory Compliance Asset Management

We are supporting a globally recognised financial institution on a confidential contract mandate within their Asset Management business in Singapore.

This is a key second-line risk management role sitting within the Regulatory Compliance function, supporting the Head of Regulatory Compliance across the full spectrum of Financial Crime Compliance (FCC) and Regulatory Compliance (RC) risk. The role carries a broad remit — from regulatory impact analysis and policy implementation to stakeholder engagement at the most senior levels.

What You'll Be Doing

Partnering with the Head to provide strategic oversight of RC/FCC risk across the business, including impact analysis of regulatory and financial crime developments. You will drive implementation of global policies and frameworks, monitor and report on compliance workstreams, and provide proactive advisory to business units on all RC/FCC matters including AML/CFT. The role also involves engaging directly with regulators and industry bodies, supporting governance committees, and ensuring operational controls are aligned to global standards.

What They're Looking For

Around 5 years of compliance experience within a fund management or asset management environment, with solid working knowledge of RC/FCC frameworks. You should be analytically strong, commercially minded, and a confident communicator with demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders. Experience navigating a matrixed, internationally reporting organisation is preferred, along with a track record of engaging regulators and managing complex regulatory change.
