Our client is a fast-growing traditional and digital assets company with a regional footprint, dedicated to building secure, compliant, and innovative financial solutions for businesses and consumers worldwide. As they expand into new markets, we are seeking a Regulatory Affairs Manager to lead their regulatory engagement efforts for the asset management business line, with exposure into the MPI world.
The Role
You will play a pivotal role in driving our global expansion by managing end-to-end regulatory licensing processes across multiple jurisdictions. Working closely with legal, compliance, and product teams, you will ensure that our business operates within the evolving regulatory frameworks that govern payments and financial services.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and advise regulatory compliance for the businesses internationally.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regulators, external counsel, and consultants in key markets.
- Monitor and interpret global regulatory developments impacting payments, e-money, and digital financial services.
- Advise internal stakeholders on licensing requirements, timelines, and compliance obligations.
- Prepare and review regulatory submissions, policies, and supporting documentation.
- Support the design of governance and compliance frameworks aligned with local and international regulatory expectations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Law, Finance, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years experience in regulatory affairs, licensing, or financial regulatory compliance ideally within the payments or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks governing payments, e-money, or other financial services.
- Proven experience managing cross-border licensing or regulatory approval projects.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with regulators and internal stakeholders.
