Formative Search is recruiting a VP for Project Finance and M&A to join a specialist financial advisory firm known for executing complex renewable energy projects worldwide. Based in Singapore, you'll lead financial structuring, debt raising, and M&A transactions across APAC while serving as the primary client contact for innovative clean energy finance solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial structuring, debt raising, and M&A equity finance advisory missions
- Manage client, bank, and stakeholder interactions
- Supervise financial analysts on model development and cash flow valuations
- Oversee due diligence processes across internal and external teams
- Gather market intelligence on electricity, debt, and venture capital markets
- Drive business development across APAC through relationship management and network expansion
- Share knowledge across local, regional, and international teams
- Contribute to the entrepreneurial culture focused on client success
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Finance or Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience in renewable energy and project/corporate finance
- Strong analytical abilities with mastery of financial modelling techniques for PF & M&A transactions
- Excellent communication skills in English with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly. Proficiency in Chinese or Korean is strongly preferred.
