Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Product Development & Strategy

  • Define and implement the regional payments product roadmap, aligned with UOB's strategic priorities.
  • Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle, from ideation and business case development to design, build, testing, and launch.
  • Collaborate with Technology, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams to deliver scalable, secure, and compliant solutions.

Commercialization & Go-to-Market

  • Develop go-to-market strategies for new and enhanced payment products.
  • Partner with Coverage, Sales, and Marketing to drive product adoption and revenue growth.
  • Create sales enablement tools, training materials, and client engagement frameworks.

Client & Market Insights

  • Conduct market scans and competitive benchmarking to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Work with clients and partners to validate product concepts and gather actionable feedback.
  • Monitor product performance and client satisfaction to drive continuous improvement.

Risk, Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure all products meet internal governance standards and comply with external regulatory requirements across jurisdictions.
  • Proactively manage product risks and support audit, compliance, and regulatory reviews.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Serve as the product champion across internal and external stakeholder groups.
  • Influence senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align priorities and ensure execution of the product roadmap.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 5+ years of experience in payments, transaction banking, or fintech, with a strong track record in product management.
  • In-depth understanding of the regional payments landscape, including domestic and cross-border schemes, ISO 20022, real-time payments, and digital wallets.
  • Proven success in commercializing products and driving sustainable revenue growth.
  • Exceptional skills in stakeholder management, communication, and data-driven decision making.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Agile product development and digital transformation frameworks.
  • Passion for innovation, client experience, and collaborative product design.
